Recent trends in diagnostic criteria, calculating indices of activities, medical treatments (nutritional and medicament therapy), cumulative operation rates, indications for surgery, choice of operation methods (wide or limited resection, marginal involvement, strictureplasty) in Crohn's disease were discussed.
