A Case Report of Esophageal Adenosquamous Carcinoma with Liver Metastasis

The patient was 62-year-old man who visited a local doctor with a chief complaint of dysphagia, and was referred to this hospital for further examination. Upper gastrointestinal series and gastrointestinal endoscopy showed a well-defined tumor of 5 cm in size tumorous type at the middle lower esophagus. Computed tomography and angiography revealed a metastatic liver cancer. Subtotal esophagectomy and right hepatectomy were carried out. The pathological diagnosis of the operative specimen adenosquamous carcinoma.
