An 80-year-old male was admitted to our hospital complaining of anemia and a right lower quadrant abdominal pain. A barium enema examination revealed a whole-circumferential stricture in the ascending colon. A colonoscopy visualized advanced colon cancer, and a biopsy specimen revealed a poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma. Right hemicolectomy with regional lymph node dissection (D2) was performed. The resected specimen revealed the tumor to be 10×8 cm in size. Histopathological examination revealed a collision tumor of primary malignant lymphoma and poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma. Collision tumors of malignant lymphoma and adenocarcinoma are rare, to our knowledge, this is only the fourth case to be reported in medical literature
