The Advances in the Therapy for Patients with Hematogenous Metastasis from Colorectal Cancer

The advances of therapeutic effect in late period (1985-1990) compared with early period (1980-1984) for hematogenous metastasis to liver and lung was evaluated. As for the liver metastasis, the survival curve revealed remarkable improvement in late period due to the increase of resection rate and the effect of cotinuous arterial infusion therapy. The survival curve in case received pulmonary resection in late period was similary showed the significant difference acording to the change of the indication for resection considering about the Tumor Doubling Time of the patient after the onset of metastasis.
